A Heart's Ambition

I love to sit at God's feet although it's not as easy as I am saying to do it every day because there's a lot of distractions but, His presence is beautiful indeed, it fixes your heart to lean on His heart. Last night my husband and I had a really sweet moment, it's not something romantic between us but it's about our hearts together aligned with God's. We simply sat at His feet, we felt His presences there as we worshiped, read the Word and prayed together. I love these moments! the moments of being in God's presence helps me to wire me to always check my heart.

Hymn lyric by Brooke Fraser
One day, I had a conversation with my husband and I told him that my goal that someday I want to delete all my social media account. Haha! :D It seems impossible for me now because I want to connect with my family and friends on the other side of the world. Social media is my number one struggle that most of the time I am by myself at home, I could use it to glorify Him but sometimes I don't feel right that I can use that reason to make me feel that I am wonderful (if you have same struggle then you know what I mean).

When I was younger, my sou burned with the fire of my youth, I had so many dreams to push myself to be successful with what God has gifted me, and of course, I would do it for His glory.

But, as I grew and I get to know Him deeper, knowing His character, His heart, I could see that it breaks the bridge to get to the place of "Godly Wonderful Me" and do the reconstruction of the bridge to get to the place "Walking in obedience and surrendering myself to Him every day".

Sometimes I would say, "Oh God, I could do this and that. Wouldn't it be amazing if I could achieve it and you will be glorified?" and in this world, with social media, it's like a big tool for you to be the person that you desired, but again as I draw closer to God, He made that image blur to me.

He whispered...

"It's not that, my child"

"So, what does it mean God?"

" Follow Me, I am a good shepherd. I will take care of you
I will make you lie down in green pastures,
I will lead you beside quiet waters,
I will refresh your soul,
I will guide you along the right paths.
Even though you walk
    through the darkest valley,
you will fear no evil,
    for I am with you;
My rod and My staff,
    will comfort you.
 I will prepare a table before you
    in the presence of your enemies.
I will anoint your head with oil;
    your cup overflows."

Psalms 23

A heart's ambition, a heart to seek His heart, to follow Him, to walk in obedience, to surrender, to trust Him, to fully depend on Him.

I pray that this will always be my heart's ambition, to be closer to Him every day.

What is your heart ambition?

Delvalina~ you have such a pure heart and one that desires to follow after the Christ you love and serve so beautifuly.
May you continue to seek His face and will for your life as you faithfully and obediently walk with Him.

I too, long to follow hard after Christ, to love Him and serve Him each and every day of my life.
I desire only to bring glory to His Name, though I fail many times, but, He is faithful and by His loving grace He forgives me, picks me up and sets me in the direction He wants me to go.
I praise His Holy Name!

So good to have a visit with you, sweet friend ♡
